Imants Ziedonis “Colorful Tales”

“Colorful Tales” is a collection of eleven fairy tales written for children of all ages. Illustrated by eleven talanted Latvian artists, students and faculty of the Art Academy of Latvia, the collection has appeared in more than ten diff erent Latvian language editions since its inaugural 1973 edition and has been translated into several languages, including German, Russian, French, and Bulgarian. “Colorful Tales” is a timeless piece of fi ction that introduces its reader to a surreal and wonderful world of color.
